Champ Show - 16th November 2008

The Northern Bullmastiff Club held Championship show on November 16th 2008, this was the 20th anniversary show of the club, and it was an honour to be invited to judge. There were 135 dogs making 150 entries. Best in show was the dog CC winner Ch King of Scalebor at Garmondsway; RBIS was the bitch CC Winner, Chalf's Laidback Ruby; BP in show was the best puppy bitch, Coxellot Started With A Kiss from Flintstock.

Minor Puppy Dog (5, 0 abs)

Puppy Dog (7, 2 abs)

1. Latter's - Rockverne Jack The Ticker by StonegladWell built red dog, square head, correct ear carriage, good mouth, moved well coming and going away, good level topline standing & on the move;
2. Forsythe's - Alwencourt Just William of FindhornGood size dog, pleasing head, dark eye, well muscled, good movement, well handled & presented well. Shame he was a bit out of coat
3. Oliver's - Nashbank The Governor.

1. Jones' - Jaynos Big Bopper JWBrindle dog, well built, good bone, nice spring of rib, well developed second thigh, moved & showed well;
2. Warren & Singleton's - Copperfield ZamielFawn with good clean lines, nice head & expression, well constructed, well handled, shown well. Not quite as big as 1.
