Minor Puppy Dog (1, 0 abs)

Myers & Morgan’s - Optimus Danzy Jones (Al) 6 month Fawn Dog. Head well developed for age, nice wide level mouth. Lovely reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders and excellent front & lovely tight feet. Top line good for his age and. Moved well coming and going with plenty of reach and drive. Well balanced boy for one so young. Pleased to award him BEST PUPPY DOG & RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW
Latter’s - Stoneglad Dakota8mth Brindle dog pleasing head not over done in any way. Larger build than 1. Good mouth, wide underjaw. Nice reach of neck. A little higher on rear at moment due to age. Nice feet and moved out well. Both promising youngsters which could swap places on another day I just preferred overall balance of 1st today.

Dyke & McGroarty’s - Alonzobar Black In The Game Ardhub 18mth Red Male in hard condition. Head square with good pigment, would prefer slightly cleaner head. Body shape was square when viewed from all angles. Movement was good when he settled. Lovely dog would like a bit more of him. Well handled.
Grimes' - Jessiemai Dr StrangeSubstantial Brindle dog, much larger than 1st in wonderful condition. Head was clean with excellent dentition. Good depth of chest, well placed shoulders with great tight feet. Top line level. Touch too straight in rear and didn’t have the drive of 1st. Today just lacked a little enthusiasm on the move.

Young's - Stonekeeper Blueprint For Staxonoby (IMP HRV)23mth old Fawn Dog with bags of character. Loved this boy and what a body presented in super hard condition. Impressive 2nd thigh. Head good and super mouth. Good reach of neck and well placed shoulders level topline and lovely angulation. Moved with power and drive coming and going and could certainly keep going. Would just prefer him slightly shorter in body to give him a squarer appearance. Well handled.

Cucchi’s - Nodarobllus James Tiberius Kirk At Stoneglad (ATC- ITA)Substantial Fawn Dog. Large square head with super mouth. Strong neck would prefer a little more reach. Strong shoulders. Level top line good angulation. Moved with reach and drive coming and going. Shown in hard condition. Well handled.
Todd & Smith's - Pleats Surprise Attack For DelarhiaSubstantial Red Dog In super condition. I really liked this boy but today just seemed tired and closing his eyes in the line-up, perhaps a busy weekend. Head Square, lovely reach of neck. Lovely when viewed from side profile although a touch long. Level topline good angulation moved with drive and purpose. Such a shame he wasn’t feeling the show spirit on the stand today. Both dogs easily would swap places on another day. Well handled.

Marshall & Tankards’s - Stoneglad Jumpin Jack Flash At Verosa JW ShCMRed Dog 2 years old. Shown in super hard condition. Square clean head viewed from all angles with excellent Dentition. Good reach of neck well placed shoulders good depth of chest with lovely tight feet. Top line ok although does taper off over croup. Enough angulation to promote good drive in Rear movement. Moved with ease coming and going. Well handled. RESERVE BEST DOG
Talbot’s - Ace Of Base At Talbadan Brindle Male in super condition head clean & square when viewed from all angles, again another super mouth. Strong neck and well placed shoulders depth of chest good and again tight feet. Super top line. A tad less angulation on rear however splitting hairs. Moved well coming and going. Both dogs could easily swap places on another day. Today 1st had the edge over 2nd due to enthusiasm on the move. Both wonderful dogs and a credit to their owners. BEST BRINDLE IN SHOW

Wonderful reach of neck, strong shoulders well placed with good depth of chest. Feet were nice and tight and super front giving him plenty of room to move. Level top line. Square & Balanced. Moved with drive and purpose and im sure could have kept going round and round. Lovely dog fit for purpose. BEST IN SHOW

Martin's - Jessiemai Can't Stop Me Now At Aribax5 year old brindle dog. Nice Shape from side profile. Head was square and good mouth. I would prefer a little cleaner in head. Good shoulders and lovely feet. Level top line. Good angulation. Moved ok just carried tail a tad high. Nice dog I would just prefer more of him all over. Well handled.

Lovely angulation. Moved really well with reach and drive coming and going. A promising youngster. Well handled. Pleased to award her BEST PUPY BITCH & BEST PUPPY IN SHOW
Todd & Smiths’- Islekeepers Octipussy 8mth another quality fawn bitch. Shown in super condition. Head square slightly more mature than 1. A little more wrinkle. Good pigment. Nice reach of neck, good depth of chest. Top line was good. Feet ok. Nice angulation moved out well coming just needs to tighten up going away, which im sure will come with age. Well handled.

Reader’s - Sundabish Belle Of The Ball 15mth Stunning Fawn Bitch who caught my attention on first glance and she didn’t disappoint on further inspection. Beautiful Feminine head square from all angles. Excellent dentition. Super pigment. Lovely reach of neck down into well placed shoulders leading to a great front with neat cat feet. Good Depth of Chest. Level top line which she held on the move. Nice angulation giving her good drive. Her movement didn’t disappoint. Lovely bitch in super condition and well handled. Im sure a promising future ahead of her. Was pleased to award her BEST BITCH & RESERVE BEST IN SHOW

Humphries & Lowton - Stoneglad Im That Chick At Lumillion Lighter red bitch slightly smaller than 1st. Shown in good condition. Head was ok preferred the square appearance of 1st. Lovely reach of neck with good depth of chest and tight feet. Top line ok. Tapered off over croup a little. Good rear angulation easily the best mover of this class but I just preferred the overall balance & head of the winner

Bown & Wilfort’s - Sundabish Cho Chang Very smart on stand head was nice and clean, Good mouth. Beautiful reach of neck. Nice top line which she held on the move. Tight feet and nicely angulated. Not the biggest of bitches but everything in the right proportions. Moved with ease and plenty of power and drive. Which won her the class. Well handled
Downs’ - Optimus Madison Another quality fawn bitch who had plenty of style on the stand. Head was again nice and clean similar to 1st nice mouth reach of neck was good, nicely placed shoulders leading down to a strong front and good depth of chest. Top line was held on move. Good movement coming… let down a little going away not as tight and neat as 1st. handled well and in lovely hard condition.

Bown & Wilfort's - Ch Sundabish Suzi Wong JW 9 ¼ year old fawn bitch. Oozes quality and I remember her in her younger days and what a showgirl she still is. I loved her attitude too. In outstanding condition she was a pleasure to behold. Her head was square when viewed from all angles. And typical of this kennel a lovely reach of neck. Mouth was good. Strong shoulder’s and fabulous depth of chest. Tight feet. Level top line which was held on the move. Lovely angulation. She powered going and coming and was a pleasure to watch move in profile. Covered ground with ease. Well-handled and a credit to her breeder/handler. I couldn’t over look her in the challenge and was pleased to award her RESERVE BEST BITCH & BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

Judge's Profile

I have had a love for dogs for many years, mainly due to my grandparents and relatives having working dogs. At 20 I bought my own dog when I bought my first house, a beautiful brindle Stafford Bitch who gave me 14 amazing years! My background was in the Equestrian world for over 25 years, having had the pleasure of working with some amazing Event Horses and Competing with my own, this is where my passion for construction and movement led me to the show side of dogs.

I have held my affix of Carminway since 2006 and purchased my first Bullmastiff in 2005. I had a “go” at some shows with him, however it wasn’t for him but I had the “bug”. I then got the opportunity to pick a beautiful fawn bitch called Tullah, my first Show Girl! Although sadly a short but nonetheless wonderful and successful partnership she was the “one”, that special dog that sparked the fire and passion I now have for the Bullmastiff.
I have since shown and bred dogs under this affix at Open and Championship shows, including Bullmastiffs, French Bulldogs and many years ago Bulldogs. Over the years I have made up a Champion, shown and bred CC and RCC winning dogs along with gaining JW awards also. I have a real passion for the Working and Utility Breeds and I am currently owned by 2 Bullmastiffs, 2 Grouchy elderly Bulldogs and 3 French Bulldogs.
I am very much looking forward to having the opportunity and most importantly the privilege to judge your dogs.
