The Northern Bullmastiff Club holds 2 breed shows a year, an Open show and a Championship show.
This year our Championship show will be held in June alongside Blackpool Championship show.
Our Open show will be held in September alongside Driffield Championship show.
Both of our shows this year are kindly sponsored by Royal Canin.
If you are not entering Darlington Championship Show you will still need to pay for parking.
£6.00 on the day.
I started showing in 1976 and over the years won 100 CCs. My judging career started in 1982 when the Working and Pastoral breeds were one group. I was first introduced to and became an ardent admirer of Bullmastiffs in the late 1980s when my great friend Dave Parry had a litter of Bullmastiffs. I watched the show career of one of that litter, Ch Sylou Startrekker with great interest and would watch the breed judging from the ringside and have continued to do so ever since. I also stewarded for Northern Bullmastiff Club shows on several occasions in the past.
Within the Working Group I award CCs to 1 breed, in the Pastoral Group I am approved to award CCs to eight breeds and also three breeds within the Utility Group.
I am very much looking forward to judging your wonderful breed at this club show.
Best Wishes
Mike

Parking will cost you £4.20 if prepaid online.
I owned my first Bullmastiff in 1998 and started showing at Exemption Shows, before moving on to Open Shows. I then moved into First Championship Show at Manchester, where I qualified for Crufts – feeling ten feet tall! We had our first pup bitch Chloe "Big and Beautiful" which my wife Ruth showed, doing really well. Seven years later I got my first Judging Appointment at Sedgley and Gornal in Stafford County Showground, had entry of 17 Bullmastiffs, then went to get my numbers by Judging the British Bullmastiff League Open Show with massive entry of 98, which gave me more numbers than I required. This was followed by first Appointment to give Bullmastiff CCs at Three Counties Show. I am now judging other breeds at Open Show Level.
